Splash of the past— our pool history
1986
The Start
Bob starts work within the pool business building and installing above ground pools. He switches to working on primarily inground pools in 1991 and never looks back.
1998
The Foundation
Bob founds the Chameleon company and builds his first gunite pool!
2004
The Framework
Bob builds a workshop on Mapleton Road in Lockport, NY. The display pool that currently inhabits the front side of the shop wasn’t built until the 2010’s.
2016
At Your Service
Chameleon evolves to include full pool service as part of its business profile, and hires a small team of professional service technicians. Our small team has now evolved to account for one third of our income and has grown from two crews to six!
2024
Ongoing Expansion
To honor our commitment to great service, we created a new office space for the service department, giving them room to expand even more. We also renovated our showroom, creating a more welcome space for our clients to view their project and design options! We are committed to providing great service in all areas of our industry, and we are excited to see how we grow next.
